AFCON 2017 : What Guinea must do to Win

Guinea go up against Senegal today in the second group stage fixture. Currently all four teams of their group are on level terms as both games ended as 1-1 draw.

A win today will boost the chances of progress to the next round. Gabon will face Burkina Faso today before Guinea face Senegal and if either of Gabon or Burkina Faso win the match, it will put huge pressure on other two teams to keep up the pace with leaders of the group. Anyways, If Guinea are to salvage anything from this fixture, the will need to keep the Senegalese attacker, Sadio Mane at bay. Mane is well and truly capable of doing the damage to the opposition with his quick feet and pace with the ball. He will be a continues thorn in Guinea’s throat but if Guinea can deal with him, they are likely to come away with something from the clash.
