The 23-man squad of Black Stars along with the technical and management officials arrived in the Central African country’s city of Port Gentil via a direct chartered flight from the United Arab Emirates, where they had a 12 days pre-tournament training sessions.
This will be Ghana’s 21st appearance at the Nations Cup, having won the tournament four times and has been group with seven-time champions Egypt, returnees Uganda and 2013 bronze medalists Mali.
Avram Grant side will open their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations campaign Uganda at 1600GMT on Tuesday January 17, before taking on Mali four days later and will face the Pharaohs of Egypt on January 25.
