President Akufo-Addo – It’s Time to end AFCON trophy drought

According to the media reports, the newly elected President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says that the national team of Ghana, black Stars should end their three decades’ trophy drought at the Africa Cup of Nations at this year’s tournament.
However, Mr. President posted a status on his official Facebook page, wishing the national team best of luck ahead of the 2017 Nations Cup, which will kick-off today in Gabon. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo posted: “Best wishes to the players, technical and management team of the Black Stars. It’s time to end our 34-year wait for the AFCON trophy. We can do it. Go for gold!” Black Stars has been grouped with Egypt, Uganda and Mali and will play their first game against Uganda.
