Jon Benjamin the ambassador of UK to Ghana, has also attended the funeral of Asantehemaa Nana Afia Kobi Serwa Ampem II, he expressed his feelings of grieve on the tragic loss to the Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II and the Asanteman Council
Talking to the media on the funeral he said the he feels much honored to be able to pay his respects to such a grand personality, he further said that Ghana and Britain share a great relationship. The late queen bid farewell to the world at the age of 111 in Nov 2016. The queen will be buried in Breman on Thursday. Mourners will be allowed to see one last glance of the queen at the Manhyia Palace.
